Sinopsis:
Will Burton (Gaelan Connell) es un pequeño perdedor acostumbrado a ser ignorado por sus compañeros de clase. Su mala racha termina cuando la popular y carismática animadora Charlotte Banks (Alyson Michalka) le invita a salir con su grupo. Impresionada por su gran conocimiento musical, Charlotte le propone formar parte de su ecléctica banda de Rock. Su meta a partir de ese momento será derrotar al ex novio de Charlotte en la batalla regional de bandas. Pronto, el destino de Will cambia y pasa a ser un chico popular que vivirá un romance con otra compañera del grupo, la guapa Sam (Vanesa Hudgens).
